In the Bull Fighting rings of Mexico and Spain you can find some of the bravest fighting bulls ever to walk the earth.  The breeding of these bulls originates from Spain and dates back 500 years. These bulls are fearless, agile and quick in their movements.  Putting these bovine athletes together with a man brave enough to test their skills can make for a beautiful and exciting dance of titans.

These talented bulls are never used a second time in a bullfight.  This is because their memory is remarkable and the former experience of a fight would make subsequent fights too dangerous for the matadors to execute their graceful cape work.

Contrary to old myths, all cattle are color blind.  The color red was adopted for the matador’s cape because it minimizes the appearance of blood and other stains and produces a more colorful spectacle for the crowd to enjoy.  Actually, it is the motion of the cape that provokes the bull to charge the matador.

The traditional bullfights of Spain and Mexico are said to be one of the most cruel and barbaric acts of man kind.  In the traditional manner, this is indeed true, but with the Ultimate Bull Fighter’s Association the word “bullfighting” takes on a whole new meaning, with the exception of one factor, the bulls being fought are the same breed for their bravery, athleticism and intelligence.

These professional bullfighters go head to head with these professional fighting bulls.  No capes, swords or devices of any kind.  The only equipment the Bullfighters are allowed are protective pads for themselves and the barrel in the arena.  The barrel may be used for protection as well as setting up jumps over the bull.  Simply stated, two athletes will be facing off to gain the most points from the judges to receive the highest score.
